
Terms and Conditions
A minimum deposit of 50% of any quoted price must be placed with any order, the balance paid on completion, before delivery. Syd Wellings reserves the right to add the cost of any specially ordered materials or components from outside suppliers to the deposit amount. Orders will not be dispatched before any method of payment is processed. Note: Customers are advised that payment should be made well before the completion of order to ensure there is no delay in delivery.
No refund of the deposit will be given should the order be cancelled, and any balance, between the deposit amount and the value of work completed at the date of cancellation, will be due immediately.
Stage payments will be required for any work that exceeds any calendar month.
Quotations only cover work detailed on the customer's order form and supplied specifications. Any work not detailed, or additional work required by the customer, will be charged extra pro rata. Any changes to specifications, or additional work required, must be confirmed by written, signed order.
All orders from customers must be set out on an order form, either an official order form in the case of a trading company, or for a private individual, a Syd Wellings supplied form. The order form must include all the requirements of the customer, or refer to a separate documents detailing specifications. Orders must be completed with the printed name and signature of the person responsible for the order.
No credit accounts will be opened for the first twelve months and terms for single orders will be applicable.
Any samples, components or other customer supplied items are left with Syd Wellings at the customers risk. Customers should ensure that any items are insured for loss or damage while at our premises.
Delivery method is at the customer's choice. All goods supplied, on our own transport, will be covered for loss or damage to the point of delivery to the customer's premises. Goods collected by the customer's transport will be the responsibility of the customer at the point of dispatch from our premises. If the customer wishes to have their order transported by courier, they should ensure that adequate insurance is in place to cover the cost of loss or damage to their order in transit, over and above the courier's basic insurance cover.
