
Birmingham's oldest public house, The Old Crown dates from 1368.
I was commissioned in 1984 by the then owners, Ansells Brewery, to design and manufacture this Pictorial Bracket Sign.
Reaching some eight feet over the frontage of the building, the sign features a cast aluminium nameplate and steel crown. Gold leaf was used as shown on the images.
